University City District 10th Anniversary Celebration at the World Cafe Live!

UCD was established in 1997 to improve the quality of life of this 2.2 square mile area of West Philadelphia. After 10 years, UCD is still building effective partnerships to maintain a clean and safe environment and to promote, plan, and advocate for University City's diverse, urban community. Help us celebrate 10 years of commitment to a such a wonderful neightborhood.

Fall Community Clean-Up - Saturday, October 27

Pitch in to help keep University City Clean! In collaboration with the City of Philadelphia, Fairmount Park, CLIP Program, WPIP Program and Councilwomann Jannie Blackwell's Office, UCD invites neighbors and community groups to organize blcok clean-ups.

Register now to help clean up your block! UCity Philly will supply all the equipment you need to make your neighborhood a tidier place.

Welcome Back Students!

Looking for exciting new places to study, shop, eat, hang out or get your groove on? UCD has developed a new website called BreakMyRoutine.com. Here you can experience the diversity of shops, restaurants, cultural and music venues, outdoor faves, and nightlife hotspots that University City has to offer. However, BreakMyRoutine.com is more than a selection of listings. We want you to give us your favorite hangouts in University City. The blog portion of the site is meant to allow people to post un-moderated comments about their experiences in University City. In the future, content posted online may be used in additional advertisements.
